We love to watch sports whether it’s live or on TV. Both of us have fantasy footballs teams and participate in March Madness brackets. In recent weeks is seems like most of the professional sports teams are finally getting back out to compete again. This inspired us to make Go Team Sports Cookies. Who is your favorite team?

Supplies needed for Go Team Sports Cookies
In this set we used small and medium size circles, a banner and football shaped cutters. We also used royal icing colors: yellow, black, orange, red, white and brown.
Outline and flood with orange icing
Create basketball lines: to give the illusion the ball is in motion, add a little curve to the cross bar lines (north/south and east/west lines).
Outline and flood cookie in white icing
Start by adding two coved lines opposite of each other, on the left the v is pointed up, on the right its pointed down.
Water polo balls are typically yellow, outline and flood with yellow icing
Start with a line around the circle, then draw a curved line from the center to the outer edge and draw short perpendicular lines around the ball.
Using brown icing trace the outline of the football. Draw a slightly curved line down the center. Flood one half and allow to dry 10 minutes before flooding the other half.
Add white stripes and finger stitching
